Consultation & eligibility
- Greet the guest by first name and introduce yourself.
- Confirm no contraindications: chemotherapy, or Lasik or other eye surgery in the last 6 months. Ask about sensitivities like watering or irritation.
- Assess lash health. If lashes are brittle, thin, sparse or damaged, do not proceed. Recommend a conditioning treatment or growth serum, and invite the guest back once lashes recover.
- If unsure, ask the most senior artist available.
- Confirm the service, product (One Shot or Profusion), mold, tint color, and top and bottom tint.
- Set expectations: 45 to 60 minutes, eyes fully closed, no pain. A tightening feeling is the adhesive setting; a slight itch can be normal while tint sits. No steam, heat or humidity for 24 hours.
Prep the eye area
- Cleanse with foam cleanser and a brush. Rinse with water and dry fully.
- Place under-eye pads 1 to 2 mm below the waterline and tape any exposed lower lashes.
- Tape the upper lid toward the brow bone so lashes are not trapped under the rod.
- Check that no white of the eye is visible. Use a dental mirror and stand if needed.
- Check in on comfort before moving on.
Mold & styling
- Try on molds at the lash line. Lashes should reach half to three-quarters of the mold, never past it.
- Place the mold as close to the lash line as possible. Shields need a thin coat of adhesive; flex rods usually do not.
- Working outer to inner corner in small sections, apply adhesive and lift lashes onto the mold with a y-comb and isolator.
- Separate every lash. Repeat on the second eye.
Step 1 · lift
- One Shot: pat on from root to midpoint. Never on the lash ends.
- Profusion: apply from the base, avoiding the waterline, to three-quarters of the lash.
- Wrap with film if lashes pop off the mold.
- When the timer ends, lashes should be soft and molded. A peeled lash should bend into a V, not a U. If not lifted, process one more minute.
- Remove: One Shot with alternating damp and dry swabs; Profusion with dry swabs.
| Lash type | One Shot | Profusion |
|---|---|---|
| Thin, fine | 5–6 min | 5–8 min |
| Normal, flexible | 6–7 min | 8–12 min |
| Resistant, coarse, down-turned, or growth serum used | 7–8 min | 12–15 min |
Step 2 · set
- With a clean microbrush, pat on from about 1 mm above the root to two-thirds of the lash, avoiding the tips.
- A peeled lash that springs back into its curl is ready.
- Remove the same way as step 1.
| Lash type | One Shot | Profusion |
|---|---|---|
| Thin, fine | 5 min | 5–8 min |
| Normal, flexible | 5 min | 6–10 min |
| Resistant, coarse, down-turned, or growth serum used | 5–6 min | 8–12 min |
Tint
- Mix tint just before use. Belmacil 2:1 tint to developer; BBL 1:3.
- Apply barrier cream to protect the skin.
- Remove the lower pads and tape. Tint lower lashes with eyes open looking up, then have the guest close.
- With the mold in place, coat upper lashes root to tip.
- Process 3 to 5 minutes, then remove with dry and damp swabs in an upward motion.
Finish & reveal
- Apply Elleeplex ReGen to the top lashes for 1 to 3 minutes to recondition and release them from the mold.
- Remove the mold with a damp swab, wiggling gently without pulling the lid. Clear any adhesive.
- Rinse with a damp cotton round so no product remains. Remove tint from the skin with tint remover.
- Dry with a fan, brush with a spoolie, and reveal in the mirror.
Aftercare
- Keep lashes dry and product-free for 24 hours. No steam, saunas, spas, workouts or boiling water.
- Results last 6 to 8 weeks with the lash cycle. Rebook when new straight lashes grow in.
- Suggested home care: Elleeplex Aftercare, Elleevate Lash Lift Mascara, Elleeplex Hyaluronic Boost Serum, lash shampoo.
Clean up & notes
- Disinfect surfaces and tools and replace exam paper.
- Record rod or shield, size, product, step 1 and step 2 times, any wrapping, and any new allergies or sensitivities.
