Remove makeup

Makeup, SPF, under-eye creams and other topical products are barriers to treatment results. Please remove eye makeup before entering service. Complimentary eye makeup remover is available in our restrooms upon request.

Avoid caffeine

Caffeine and other stimulants may cause involuntary movements that disrupt the service experience and results. Please refrain from anything that may prevent you from relaxing fully.

Wear glasses

We highly recommend removing contacts before service, as some treatments may cause dry or irritated eyes. Complimentary contact solution and disposable lens holders are available upon request.

Plan for events

If this is your first DC Lash Bar treatment, consider booking a few days before any major event in case you’d like time to adjust the style. Schedule a consultation or trial service ahead of weddings, anniversaries or galas.

Don’t pluck

Refrain from tweezing or trimming your brows for at least 2–3 weeks before the appointment, to give your technician the full shape to work with.

Avoid the sun

Before any brow wax or sculpt service, limit sun exposure — including tanning beds — for at least 24 hours before your appointment to prevent skin sensitivity.
